Hagihara x BEAMS Japan Cushion

In 1892, the first generation, Fuichi Hagihara, founded Hagihara Fuichi Shoten. Fuichi Hagihara took the name “Maruf” from his own name “Fuichi” and founded the company to manufacture and sell mats for export to the United States.

As times change and people’s lives become more varied, Hagihara's pursuit remains centered on contributing to a rich and fulfilling life. Hagihara Corporation envisions and strives to connect with your lifestyle, working towards the creation of comfortable and pleasant living spaces for everyone.

In collaboration with BEAMS Japan, Hagihara and Beams made a comfortable mat for your home. 

The cushions are made from rush grass grown in Kumamoto prefecture, dyed to show the BEAMS Japan logo, and jacquard woven to create a three-dimensional pattern, all handmade by skilled craftspeople.

Polyester felt is used for the filling to create a soft and comfortable seating experience.

The cushion is made of rush grass, which has excellent moisture absorption and desorption properties, and has a comfortable, dry feel.

Choose from Orange or Navy.
