For over a hundred years, Yamamoto Jin Shoten has specialized in fabrics. Now in collaboration with BEAMS Japan, they're here to provide a functional piece of art.

The motif is the national treasure "Choju Jinbutsu Giga," a picture scroll handed down at Kozan-ji Temple in Kyoto, and the orange color, which is the corporate color of BEAMS and carries the auspicious meaning of "prosperity for generations to come," has been adopted.

The original caricature consists of four volumes, A, B, C, and D, of which A and B were produced in the late Heian period and C, D, in the early Kamakura period. It is a masterpiece of caricature that is world-famous.
